Russian forces launched a coordinated aerial assault across Ukraine overnight Saturday-Sunday, using a combination of attack drones, ballistic missiles, and guided aerial bombs to strike industrial, food, and residential infrastructure across multiple regions.

On Sunday morning, a Russian “Shahed” drone struck an industrial enterprise in the city of Kryvyi Rih, killing two people. Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city’s Defense Council, confirmed the fatalities and noted that the facility and surrounding infrastructure sustained damage.

Vilkul stated that all municipal services, public transport, hospitals, and social institutions in Kryvyi Rih remain operational.

Simultaneously, Russian drones targeted the Nikopol district, striking the city of Nikopol and the Marhanets community. The bombardment killed a 66-year-old man and caused widespread property damage, hitting an administrative building, several private residences, outbuildings, and a commercial truck.

Strikes on Kharkiv and Dnipro

The assault extended into the country’s east and south. In Kharkiv, a swarm of Shahed drones targeted the city’s residential areas.

Oleh Synehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported that drone impacts in the Shevchenkivskyi district injured three people, including a 16-year-old girl. The kinetic blasts damaged more than 20 residential buildings in the area.

Furthermore, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed that another drone strike ignited a massive fire at a garage cooperative in the city’s Kyivskyi district.

On Saturday, July 11, Russian tactical aircraft targeted the city of Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs (KABs). Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, stated that the heavy munitions destroyed private homes and sparked fires.

The blasts injured three women, aged 58, 64, and 78, who required medical assistance. Police, rescue workers, and medical teams were deployed to the impact zones.

Earlier on Saturday, a daytime air strike hit the center of Sloviansk in the Donetsk region. Vadym Liakh, head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration, reported that three FAB-250 guided aerial bombs killed a 67-year-old man whose body was recovered from the rubble of his home. Three other civilians were injured, and at least 15 private residences and four multi-story buildings were damaged.

The Kharkiv region also faced attacks throughout Saturday. In the city of Izium, a Russian strike hit a multi-story residential building, injuring four people.

In Kharkiv city, a morning drone assault using an “Italmas” drone struck a civilian enterprise in the Nemyshlianskyi district, injuring seven people and damaging a warehouse facility, while a separate strike hit a gas station in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
