Ukraine launched another wave of long-range drone strikes overnight, with Russian authorities reporting attacks on energy and industrial facilities in Stavropol and Krasnodar Krais, while dozens of drones targeted the Moscow region.
Residents of Stavropol Krai reported explosions and a large fire early on Monday, while Governor Vladimir Vladimirov said Russian air defenses were repelling drones near the regional capital.

“As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in the industrial zone in the village of Vyazniki, Shpakovsky District,” Vladimirov wrote on Telegram, adding that there were no reported casualties.
Later, Russian outlet Astra, citing its OSINT team, identified the burning facility as an oil depot near the railway station in Vyazniki.
According to the publication, it was the second oil depot in the village targeted within a week. Another depot, identified as belonging to Rosneft-Stavropol Oil Company, was struck during a Ukrainian drone attack on Thursday.
Meanwhile, authorities in Krasnodar Krai said a drone attack sparked a fire at an industrial facility in the Temryuk district.
Officials also reported damage to a private home in the village of Ilyich after drone debris fell on the property, while fragments damaged a company hangar in the Belorechensky district. However, no casualties were reported.
Astra said NASA’s FIRMS satellite monitoring system detected heat anomalies near the Port Kavkaz area, where the Universal Bulk Chemical Terminal (UNHT LLC) is located.

The Ukrainian monitoring channel Exilenova+ also reported fires near the Kavkaz railway station and an oil storage facility serving Port Kavkaz, one of Russia’s key logistics hubs connecting the mainland with occupied Crimea.
The channel further claimed NASA FIRMS detected fires in the Sea of Azov that could indicate fresh strikes on vessels linked to Russia’s shadow fleet, although this has not been independently verified.
The Moscow region also came under a large-scale drone attack overnight.
Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov said three people were killed and three others injured after a drone crashed into private homes in the village of Pionersky, west of Moscow, igniting fires in five houses.
Vorobyov said Russian air defense and electronic warfare systems intercepted 81 drones over the Moscow region overnight. Separately, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said 50 drones heading toward the capital had been shot down.
Another two people were injured after a drone struck an apartment building in Solnechnogorsk, while several homes and a residential building sustained damage elsewhere in the region.
According to Exilenova+, much of the reported damage and casualties resulted from falling debris during Russian air defense operations.
The attacks temporarily disrupted operations at all four Moscow airports before restrictions were lifted early Monday morning.
The Russian defense ministry later reported that its air defenses had intercepted and destroyed 342 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight across multiple Russian regions.
“Between 8:00 p.m. Moscow time on July 12 and 8:00 a.m. Moscow time on July 13, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 342 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs),” the ministry said, listing the Volgograd, Vladimir, Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan, and Tula regions, the Moscow region, Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Adygea, occupied Crimea, and the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.
Notably, the ministry’s report did not include Stavropol Krai, where an oil depot in the village of Vyazniki caught fire after what regional governor said was a drone attack.
At the time of publication, Ukraine had not commented on or claimed responsibility for the attacks.
