The AFU Separate Presidential Brigade, named after Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky, released footage on Facebook Monday demonstrating how soldiers from the 3rd Mechanized Battalion destroyed around 20 Russian motorcycles and well over 20 armored combat vehicles, including tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, along with multiple dozens of items of weaponry and other military equipment.
Ukrainian forces estimate that up to 200 Russian infantry troops were eliminated during the assault, though they did not specify the exact location where the footage was recorded.

The Russian assault began with a rapid push using motorcycles in an attempt to break through Ukrainian defenses. However, they were quickly hit by pinpoint strikes from Ukrainian first-person-view (FPV) drones.
Following the first failed attempt, Russian troops launched a second wave with three mechanized columns carrying infantry soldiers.
These too were targeted and completely destroyed by Ukrainian drone units and soldiers from the 31st Brigade. By evening, Ukrainian forces reported that all enemy vehicles were in flames.
In total, over the past 24 hours, according to the General Staff, Russian forces are reported to have lost 1,180 personnel. Ukrainian troops also destroyed seven tanks, 20 armored combat vehicles, 68 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, two air defense systems, 147 tactical drones, and 210 vehicles.
