As of July 10, Russia has lost 1,030,580 troops after launching its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022 – including 920 troops over the past day, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU).
Russian casualties in Ukraine surpassed one million on June 16.

The figures include all troops who are put out of action for some time due to deaths or injuries.
Russian equipment losses in Ukraine so far
The General Staff, in its daily update, also listed Russia’s total recorded equipment losses as follows:
- 22,972 armored fighting vehicles (including three over the past day)
- 54,656 vehicles and fuel tanks (including 81 over the past day)
- 30,140 artillery systems (including 38 over the past day)
- 44,781 drones (including 324 over the past day)
- 11,011 tanks (including 11 over the past day)
- 1,437 multiple launch rocket systems (including three over the past day)
- 1,193 anti-aircraft systems
- 421 airplanes
- 340 helicopters
- 28 ships and boats
- one submarine
The General Staff said it recorded 201 clashes across the front on Wednesday, July 9.
