Russia has submitted additional proposals to the United States on collective security guarantees as part of negotiations to resolve the war in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.
TASS quoted Lavrov as saying that the ongoing negotiations between Russia and the US focus on achieving a long-term settlement to the war in Ukraine.

According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin and US Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff resolved all misunderstandings that arose after the pause following the Alaska summit.
“The essence of these agreements is that Ukraine must return to the non-aligned, neutral, and non-nuclear foundations of its statehood,” Lavrov told journalists.
Lavrov claimed that the EU had suffered a defeat in its “anti-Russian blitzkrieg” and was now “speculating” about a peaceful settlement. He warned that any European peacekeepers deployed to Ukrainian territory would immediately become a legitimate target for Russia.
He also alleged that European countries were preparing to reinforce their forces on the borders of Belarus.
“Poland alone has announced its intention to increase production of 155mm ammunition by 30 times. And against this backdrop, they are trying to convince everyone that they are preparing not for war, but for some kind of just peace in Ukraine,” he said.
“(The Europeans) are claiming some kind of role in the settlement. All these Europeans, like Macron, who proudly declare that without us, without Europe, no one will resolve anything,” he added.

Lavrov insisted that Russia has no aggressive intentions toward NATO or EU member states.
“We are ready to formalize the relevant guarantees in writing in a legal document, on a collective, mutual basis, of course. But I repeat, it is we who are responsible for our words,” he said.
“And on the other side, there’s an outright militaristic frenzy. And, as our president said, if Europe decides to fight, we’re ready for it right now,” he added.
Lavrov further claimed that numerous information leaks were complicating the negotiations and hindering the implementation of US President Donald Trump’s initiatives.
He also alleged that Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) losses have exceeded 1 million. According to him, Russia has handed over more than 11,000 bodies of fallen soldiers to Ukraine and has received 201 in return.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said Kyiv is working around the clock with international partners to build what he described as a durable and respectable framework for peace.
He also plans to meet with the “Coalition of the Willing” on Thursday to coordinate future military and security commitments.
Zelensky argued that Moscow has shown no genuine interest in negotiations, citing continued attacks on energy infrastructure and civilian targets, but said he sees clear engagement from Washington in shaping a realistic peace framework.
For now, he added, Kyiv is holding direct dialogue only with the US.
US officials previously told Axios that some in the Trump administration view certain European leaders as impediments to progress and have attempted to pressure Zelensky directly, at times working to separate him from his EU partners.
Kyiv has reportedly submitted an updated plan to end Russia’s war in Ukraine to the White House, AFP reported, citing two Ukrainian officials familiar with the matter. They provided no details about the proposal itself.
Zelensky said Ukraine’s peace package consists of three documents: a 20-point framework outlining the principles for ending the war, a separate text on security guarantees, and a plan focused on postwar economic recovery.
The specific contents of the latest proposal now said to be in Washington remain undisclosed.
