President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that Ukrainian forces struck two major Russian logistics facilities in the Moscow and Tambov regions, along with an oil depot and maritime targets, on Saturday, July 18.
In a statement on Telegram, Zelensky noted that the targeted logistics hubs were located over 500 and approximately 700 kilometers from the front line. According to the president, the facilities were utilized to supply sanctioned components for the production of drones and navigation equipment.

Zelensky stated that the coordinated operation also struck an oil facility, as well as targets in the Azov and Black seas and occupied Crimea. He credited the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF), Special Operations Forces (SSO), Armed Forces of Ukraine, Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), and the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) for the execution of the strikes.
USF claims strike on Moscow region warehouse
Following the president’s statement, the 1st Separate Center of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces claimed responsibility for the strike on a large Wildberries logistics warehouse in Elektrostal, located in the Moscow region.
The military unit published video footage showing smoke rising from the facility, stating that the drone strike successfully targeted the 188,000-square-meter complex.

The confirmations follow widespread reports of overnight drone attacks targeting Russian fuel and logistics infrastructure early Saturday morning.

In the Tambov region, a drone strike sparked a fire at a Wildberries logistics complex located in the Kotovsk Industrial Park. Local authorities reported that seven Wildberries employees were killed as a result of the attack in Kotovsk.
The second Wildberries warehouse targeted was the Elektrostal facility, which operates as the company’s second-largest logistics hub by order processing volume.
The overnight operation also targeted the Noginsk oil depot in the Moscow region, where eyewitnesses reported explosions and a subsequent fire. The Noginsk depot operates as an independent fuel market operator, storing and transferring light petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel fuel, and kerosene.
The Noginsk site contains 24 reservoirs with a total capacity of 11,500 cubic meters. It serves as a central logistics node for traders and fuel companies in the Moscow region, with its infrastructure used by fuel suppliers to store and ship petroleum products.
